Otro de Terry Pratchett. El señor Húmedo von Mustachen, que con tanto éxito había dirigido la casa de Correos, es propuesto para el cargo de director del banco Real de Ankh-Morpork. La familia Espléndido, con un 49% de participaciones en el banco, se opone, pero el presidente, (que es un perro), parece aceptarle. Con la excusa de este argumento TP se dedica a hablar de los bancos, del dinero fiat, del patrón oro y de otras cuatas cosas. Por supuesto, criticando a mansalva de manera mordaz todo lo que se pne a tiro. Y sin embargo, el libro me ha dejado frío. La historia, que está muy bien construida como todas las de TP, está bastante delavazada (en su segunda acepción) comparada con otras del autor. Muchos saltos de historia no tan bien ligados como otras veces, muchas partes inconclusas o no resueltas con cariño. No sé. Impresión personal, tal vez, pero ésta está menos redonda que otras novelas de TP. Aun así, una lectura entretenida.
