What kind of ending was that?! OMG you can't end a romance that way! I'm just going to come right out and warn you - you don't get your HEA.... I assume it's coming in future books.

Ok now that I got that out of the way, I was wishy-washy about this book. If it weren't a book club read I might have put it down at about the 20% mark. But it wasn't bad - I just wasn't gripped - so I continued. And I am glad I did. The characters are sweet and endearing. Watching them learn lessons about growing up and facing responsibility was wholesome.

There's this one "mystery" element that I was pretty certain of from the get-go and kinda forgot about... but when it was revealed I was right. In fact, it was very predictable - I knew what was coming at pretty much every turn. Again, not because it was bad, but because it felt like a combination of stories I know really well. I felt a little bit of Little Women in it, for example.

I feel like it seems like I didn't like the book - but truth is it was okay. I enjoyed the culture references and the family element - 3 sisters whose mom passed away - was really strong. If it had ended with my HEA I probably would stop with this book. Now... IDK I might read the next one to see how it plays out.

I did listen to this and the narration by Laura Knight Keating was good. I could have sworn I've listened to her before, but I'm not seeing a match, so maybe not. She did good with the voices and listening at 2x felt perfect.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect when going into this, having read a different Jenny Han book that I didn't enjoy all that much. But To All The Boys I've Loved Before was such a fun, enjoyable read and I'm really excited to get to read the rest of the trilogy.

I thought I loved the Netflix adaptation, but DANG! THE BOOK IS SO MUCH BETTER!

Well, until the ending. It seemed...I don’t know...forced? Rushed? Maybe a bit of both.

Reading this book was like eating an ice cream sundae covered with hot fudge, melted caramel, strawberry sauce, chocolate chips, and whipped cream. It was just that sweet and soft.

That being said, I read this book after watching the AMAZINGLY ADORABLE Netflix movie, which I fell in love with. While reading, all I could do was picture Lana Condor and Noah Centineo and it felt like I was watching an extended edition of the movie. Whether or not I would have enjoyed this book as much as I did sans movie is a mystery, but I liked it all the same. It was just so fluffy, and I haven't read a book like that in a long time.

I really liked the difference between the book and the movie. I saw the movie first and have thought of reading the books before but the movie made me go out and buy the books. I just really enjoyed this book. It was so cute to watch Lara Jean fall for Peter for real. On to the next book!

Super adorable and fun but I am pissed about the way this ends. Like, seriously?

Yes, I'm going to read the next books, but god help me I hope I actually get to them the moment they get here and not let them just collect dust the way I usually do when there is a pause between books in a series. I honestly wasn't expecting a fluffy contemporary to end on a cliffhanger and wasn't prepared with the sequels and now I can't even watch the Netflix movie (the real reason I was pushed to finally read this) because I'm pretty such THAT doesn't end on a cliffhanger and I don't want to watch it before reading it so now I'm STUCK.

I enjoyed this a lot more than Burn for Burn. It was cute and sweet but still felt real. I didn't really have relationships in high school so it was kind of interesting to see that reflected in this story. Imagined relationships (not creepy ones) can be a big deal. I liked seeing that in the book. I also really liked Lara Jean's driving anxiety (not the actual anxiety but the depiction of it). I still suffer from it and never really see it addressed in books. I can't wait for the Netflix movie!

I started this book because a lot of people love this series. This was the quickest book that I've ever read, and I read it so fast because I loved it so much. I recommend this book to anyone, it is such a fun YA read.
