This was my first Jill Shalvis book, and it was a delightful experience.

I found the inhabitants of Lucky Harbor adorable and amusing. The whole vibe of the place indicated, that this is the type of town I would enjoy living in. I fancied the male relationships, and the female relationships, which were fun, but real. So, I guess you can say, I really liked the characters.

I also found the concept of the story really great. This idea of trying to right some wrongs. Aubrey grew up a lot, but it seems many of the denizens of Lucky Harbor can only remember the Aubrey of yore. She is trying to start a new business, and a new life, but she needs to forgive herself for some of her past discretions. So, she makes a list. A list of those she needs to apologize to for past wrongs. In the meantime, one of those she had wronged, comes on her romantic radar. Ben is returning to Lucky Harbor after a 5 year hiatus, which he took after the death of his wife.

This was a cute romance, with many heart tugs, and lots of laughs. It is exactly the type of romance I love!. I will definitely be revisiting Lucky Harbor soon.

This made me feel a lot, because inside Aubrey feels really unloved and unworthy of love, but at a certain point Ben really pissed me off! Though his grand gesture (I'll call it that) was pretty sigh worthy.

Oh, and the best part of the book? Pink and Kendra!

I read this book in one sitting. I just couldn't stop. I enjoyed getting to know Aubrey and seeing her come into her own throughout this book and I hella loved me some Ben McDaniels. I think he's my favorite hero from this batch of Lucky Harbor books and that's saying something because Jack is a firefighter and I love firefighters but still, Ben had a sexiness about him that took me to my happy place over and over again in this book.

This was another great addition to the Lucky Harbor series and I'm even more anxious to read Sam's book...woot!
