мне конечно нравился Джем, но я болела исключительно за Уилла и Тессу
и этот конец
я не знаю он меня обрадовал или расстроил

I quite liked the conclusion to the series, but a few elements still bothered me. I know that EVERYBODY loves the love triangle between Tess, Will and James, but I dislike it. I always saw true connection only between Will and James, that's the tea.

Even though it has been 6 years, I still really adored this series. I have so much love for all of the characters, and Cassandra Clare makes all of them count. The plot was a little bit less exciting this second time... because well, I know how it ends XD But it is still a great series, an amazing world, and I loved reading it again.

This series I swear! I loved Clockwork Angel, I liked Clockwork Prince but Clockwork Princess was tons tons better. I just... it had everything. Battles and romance and emotional moments and that epilogue!!!!!! THAT EPILOGUE. I didn't see it coming at all and yet it was PERFECT. *happy sigh*

I enjoyed Clockwork Princess so damn much! After the disappointments that I had with Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince, I sat down, stared at the cover of Clockwork Princess and begged it to be a great book, with a bout of craziness extreme desperation. It did not disappoint!

Clockwork Princess was filled with action, danger and despair. Something was always going wrong, someone was always getting injured and for the characters, it's do or die situations. The stakes are so much higher as the Magister starts to carry out his evil plans.

There is also a subplot that I enjoyed involving the Clave's way of life and the Consul that brought a ton of questions that I found to be quite important. What is leadership? Does power corrupt? To what extent can leaders be followed and trusted?

However, what really made this book work for me was two things:
1)The characters
2)The SHIPS!!!

There's the three central characters, the main character, Tessa and her two love interests, Will and Jem. Tessa was my least favourite character in the whole trilogy. She's stubborn, doesn't listen to instructions and recklessly endangers herself. I just couldn't deal with her! I couldn't understand why Will and Jem thought she was so amazing and no matter how much I tried to like her, she ended up annoying me.

The love triangle gave me mixed feelings. I found the fact that Tessa could love two people at the same time cringe-worthy, but, I could also understand it due to the amazing friendship that Will and Jem had. It was because of this that I found it difficult to believe that Jem could have no idea about Will's feelings for Tessa. However, this was one of thee most dignified and respectable love triangles I have ever read about and the way it ends, will warm the hearts of both Team Will and Team Jem members!

Even although I love both Jem and Will, I found some of the Jem and Tessa scenes in the beginning of the novel to be cheesy and cringy. This could be because I am a permanent member of #Team Will. Will Herondale... I get it now! I get why people love Will and claim him as a book boyfriend. I totally understand!

Will and Jem's parabathi relationship is heart warming, amazing and almost made me teary-eyed, ALMOST... Will +Jem = friendship goals for life!

It's definitely the secondary characters that made me love Clockwork Princess. They totally stole the show! There is Magnus Bane, my favourite warlock and Charlotte and Henry who are still going strong, being strong and lovable and are one of my OTP's. Gideon Lightwood and Sophie Collins - I loved them as singular characters and as a couple. Cecily Herondale was an amazing addition to the London Institute family. She's stubborn, defiant and utterly lovable. Her relationship with Gabriel Lightwood, was my favourite relationship in the whole entire book. I also loved how Gabriel went from arrogant douchebag to one of my favourite fictional characters in a space of a tiny novel. All the ships gave me ALL the feels!

The ending and epilogue of Clockwork Princess spans over 100 pages, not that I'm complaining, and is one of the most satisfying ending to a trilogy that I have ever read.

Clockwork Princess ended The Infernal Devices series on a high note!

I knew it was going to be emotional, because it's an ending to a series, but damn I really cried hard. But a great ending to a really enjoyable series.

DNF at 53% on 9/20/18

I enjoyed the first two books in this series and don't know why I couldn't finish this. I really tried and it just felt like a chore. The only thing that kept me going this far, was I wanted to know if Will and Tessa ever end up together. I never liked Jem and there was too much of him in this one. I put this down for a while in the hopes that I'd get motivated to pick it back up again. Sadly, that never happened and I'm officially giving up.
