Somehow, the FMC and MMC ... don't act stupid almost in everything. Maybe I’m just tired of constant emotional rollercoasters and morally grey heroes and needed a break. But I found reading this book to be cosy - in a good way.
The FMC isn’t shallow, and her development is steady and progressive throughout the story. There are almost no repetitive narratives or dialogues with the MMC. Both of them feel mature enough according to their characters, with good dynamics between them.
Well, after the first book, which I didn’t find interesting enough, the second one was really great for relaxing - curling up under a blanket with a cup of tea.
