over half the book was nearly word for word scenes from 2 others. kind of a let down.

More 3.5 than 4.

Illarion was betrayed and forced to serve humanity as a dragonmount, then he found love and she was torn from him, now he's trying to ensure that he doesn't lose his treasure to those who intend evil and instead find redemption.

Some of it just felt a bit rushed and there were a lot of coincidences.

80% of Dragonmark was exactly the same as Dragonbane... which made for a lot of flipping back and forth to actually get any of Illy's story. I understand that this story mostly unfolded at the same time - but there was so much that was identical it was a disappointment.
