This was the PERFECT ending to the Paranormalcy trilogy. I finished book two yesterday, and devoured book three this morning - it was just SO addictive, and it truly was the perfect ending. A lot of books or series get poor endings, but not this one. It had everything - it was tense, it was fast-paced, we got to see our favourite characters, everything about it was awesome.

I love Evie. So much. I want to be her, because she's just so cool under pressure. Any other sixteen/seventeen year old would crumble. I would crumble, but she takes everything on her shoulders and just kicks ass, with Tasey by her side usually.

I loved the book so much. It kept me gripped from start to finish and it was the perfect end to a pretty freaking awesome series.

Wow...what a bittersweet ending! I hate to see a good series end but I absolutely loved it. Full review to come.

In this last book things finally come to a close and there are now two groups that want Evie. The paranormals want to be sent back home where they belong, and they want Evie to open a portal like she did back in the first book. IPCA is the other group, but they want her for different yet similar reasons. IPCA is under new management, and the director has replaced Raquel. They also seem to want her for her abilities, but I’ll leave the rest of that for you to read about.

There are so many little things that happen, lots of plans and lots of rescuing people and lots of scene changing, so there’s never really a dull moment. There are also of course quite a few trips into the Faerie Realms, and both Queens get their minutes of fame, which I thought was awesome!

While I do love this series and the characters, I do have to admit that Evie doesn’t really change all that much. Yes she does find happiness in Lend and so on, but she’s still stubborn and selfish (to a point) and so unsure and not very confident. I know not every character has to be strong like a superhero, but I would have liked to see her grow more. Even though she was hilarious, sometimes she got on my nerves, like when she wouldn’t even bother listening to the paranormals when they wanted to talk to her about helping them. I understand that her whole life she’s been mixed in with other people’s plans and it could kill her to help, but still, she could have done the right thing from the beginning and at least listened. Though I do appreciate that she always tried to make everything work out and help other people.

The best character in this was Reth and the story had so much of him in it. It showed how he was trying so hard to make sure all the Fae get home safely, even if it meant tricking Evie and trying to force her what to do. He definitely had the perfect aspect to him and all powerful like a Faerie should be, but even near the end when things weren’t looking good he still managed to be cool.

While I loved the first book, and the second was still pretty good, this one just fell a bit short for me, I guess I was just expecting a little bit more from Evie, but I did still enjoy reading it. Give this series a try and see what you think of it, and let me know!

If you've read the first two then you pretty much know what to expect. I mean, the plot is surprising but Evie is still Evie and the dialog is fast and funny.

The only thing that really bothered me in this book (though if I recall correctly it's also true of the other books) is how black and white everyone and everything is. Either people are wholly good and are ever only on her side or they are evil and completely against her. It was really annoying and quickly she'd flip back and forth between hating someone and liking them (and then back again) with no room in between. But then what I really did like was to see her move beyond that and realize she could care about someone even if they had their own agenda, that she could work with them even if she didn't wholly trust them, give people a chance to make up for mistakes, to choose a different way and earn her trust.

I also liked that all of the characters got to come out and play for the final book. It's a fun, quick read and a very good end to this trilogy.

Paranormalcy was one of the first books I picked up when I first started book blogging, so having this trilogy end is making me feel a bit nostalgic! And while I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first book in the trilogy, it was still a great ending and it made me a little teary eyed!

Endlessly is packed full of fun scenes with Evie and the rest of the paranormals in her life. I loved the amount of time that was spent with the Fae, and I loved seeing more of Reth, who has really grown on me since the trilogy started!

I do think that things wrapped up a little too easily. It was pretty obvious was was going to happen, and there wasn't really a huge threat. There was one shocking turn of events, but that was it and I felt a little disappointed by the wrap up.

Evie also spent a lot of time pining on about Lend. Just shut up already, the paranormal world is ending and you're running around, tearing your hair out over some guy! So yes, I feel she could have been a bit more independent and she could have sorted out her priorities, but whatever. It was still really good!

I am definitely going to miss this series and IPCA and the faeries and the werewolves and vampires and everything else that came with it. It was a great trilogy overall, and it'll definitely always have a place on my shelf!
