I've read 2 series from R.H, Soldier Son, and Farseer. The way the story goes is similar.
I do like the end of both of the series. but got quite bored in the middle of those books. While I generally like the story, but I don't like the "fantasy" part of those two series. What I felt when reading those series is "dark". In both series, main character always put in dread situation, tortured, live (if not always, then regularly) in sick-state. I do like how R.H put the pieces together in the end, makes u want to read till the end straight away.
