Another fun read! I love reading more intense stuff and nonfiction - but on a day like today, when the world is a burning dumpster, Gail Carriger is *perfect*.

I love this series. It is full of so many fun and interesting characters! I find myself laughing out loud quite often. The action and mayhem are so much fun to read, and Alexia and Conell just make me green with envy. They have such an adorable relationship, and we finally get the baby!!!!

Just excellent. Really great writing that so perfectly paints a picture in your head as you're reading, with colourful characters that come alive and jump off the page. I absolutely love the British-style humour. This fourth book goes a long way towards expanding on some of the secondary characters, with a plot within a plot being very well done. I'm truly sorry this series ends with 5 books, but I can't wait to rip into the 5th, Timeless.

I had a hard time getting into this and, unfortunately, there wasn't too much I liked about it. The storyline did absolutely nothing for me and I wasn't as amused by Alexia's antics this time. I really like when Alexia and Connall have a lot of face time together, but they were apart most of the story. I didn't like Madame Lefoux's part in the story and I didn't care for the way the book ended. It's very doubtful that I will be reading the next book, which is disappointing as I liked the previous books in this series.
