Epic, fantastically well written, and filled with humour, supsense, love, emotions and a quest described to perfection.

This book had it all! It had Ash's quest, and his emotions going all over the place when he realized who the last person who was there to help him was. Puck was just as usual, but he also finally was able to show that he could be serious. Grimalkin disappeared every time things got icky, and the big bad wolf was very... wolfish.

I loved the tests Ash had to go through, and how they changed him, and opened him up to finally truly love.

I am not going to say anything more for fear of spoiling things, but this is a must-read! Very satisfying indeed!

this was a beautiful book, such a great adventure for Ash, Puck, and the rest of them. it was great getting to see the future, and I almost cried with the sacrifice, but I am super excited that Ash got his HEA

At the end of my review for the Iron Queen, I said I thought that was the best book in the series. And while that book finished the story of the Iron Fey's attempt to take over the Nevernever and Meghan Chase's ascension to the Iron Queen, I'll have to amend my statement on which is the best book in the series. This book, is the best one.

Told from Ash's perspective, we follow him on his journey to obtain the one thing that will allow him to keep his vow to Meghan, his soul.

To obtain that, Ash and Puck touch every corner of Nevernever to find the path that will lead them to the ends of the world. Along the way, they run into some old foes as well as finding out that the one thing that tore Ash and Puck apart as best friends has actually been "alive" this entire time.

But to obtain the soul he so desperately needs, Ash must run the gauntlet to prove his worthiness and then pass a series of test to see if the humanity he seeks is actually what he wants.

If you weren't Team Ash before, I think you will be after you read this one. He is every bit the complex and emotional person I thought he could be if he let go of that icy wall around his heart. In the end, he knew that despite having back what he thought was lost after seeing what he could have with Meghan it was worth the risk.

An excellent addition to a great series. I'm sorry to see it end, but I'm hoping that maybe we can convince Julie Kagawa that Puck needs to have his own series.

Oh My Gosh! Wow! Awesome! (glad to get that off my chest!) I don't even know how to start describing how good this novel is. I have loved the Iron Fey series from the beginning as well as falling in love with its characters. If you have ever visited my blog, you will notice the proud display of my Team Ash banner. The Iron Queen was a bittersweet read for me and I cried like a fool (or so my hubby told me ;) I was ecstatic when the fourth and final book of the series was announced.



The Iron Knight is told from Ash's point of view and it was a brilliant decision. Ash has always been surrounded by mystery and in this installment we get to know him like never before. We know his hopes, his regrets, his feelings, and his thoughts and it was an amazing journey. Ash, Puck and Grimalkin set up to find the End of the World in order for Ash to earn a soul, and in the way they find other companions. Ms. Kagawa added here a very unexpected twist and needless to say my mouth was hagging open for a full minute (just like Puck's, I'm sure.) This is an adventure of epic proportions, full of trials, challenges, danger, and excitement.



The writing was flawless, I bow to you Ms. Kagawa, for your style and insight. The plot is packed full of action, but it also allows the time we need to get to know Ash (and Puck) better and for him to come to terms with his feelings.



The Iron Knight is in short brilliant and it's by far my favorite book in the series. I hope that when we get Ethan's story in Ms. Kagawa's next series, we get a glimpse at Meghan, Ash, Puck and the other characters that we have learn to love to well. I wish I could tell you more, but alas, I strive to keep my reviews 'spoiler free.'



About the cover: Is just beautiful, just as I imagine Ash to be (except the eyes that are silver.) It has be same feel as the other covers in the series, with similar swirls and font. What can I say? Perfect!
