I was apparently not in the mood for a historic book and the old fashioned writing and true to history bits failed to interest me. I’m sure it’s very good, though.
Jack Carstares, the disgraced Earl of Wyncham, left England seven long years ago, sacrificing his honour for that of his brother when he was accused of cheating at cards.
