Beezus Quimby tries very hard to be patient with her little sister, but four-year-old Ramona has the habit of doing the most unpredictable, annoying, embarrassing things in the world. Sometimes Beezus doesn't like Ramona very much, and that makes her feel very guilty. Sisters are supposed to love each other, but pesky little Ramona just doesn't seem very lovable to Beezus.

I don't think I read any of the Ramona books growing up, and I'm kind of glad I didn't. This was incredibly stressful. I feel for you Beezus, I really do.

I do like that it focuses on Beezus' feelings towards Ramona, and less on trying to get a handle on the kid. We don't always like our siblings, so it's kind of cool to see a book tackle that feeling.
