What happens when Goodreads is down and I'm at the library and in a hurry? I grab the second in the series. But it's hard to regret (I don't regret anything) when you pick up a Julia Quinn historical romance.
In short, if I didn't already love Julia Quinn, What Happens in London would have sealed the deal.
And now I need more. Screw waiting for the first in the series! Which is what I had been doing with most of the Julia Quinn series I hadn't started. No longer.
Having Olivia spy on Harry and the ensuing shenanigans were hilarious. I giggled. Maybe even snorted. Watching Olivia and Harry go from dislike to like to something more was swoon-y. Yes, I went there. They were adorable. And I was kind of sad when it was all over.
If you like historical romance, you've got to pick up a Julia Quinn book. And if you're not sure about historical romance, Julia Quinn is a good place to start. Try it. Read it. Love it.
