I am really liking this series. UF vs PNR, UF wins every time.

In this book, Nick's sarcasm and smart-ass retorts didn't annoy me and weren't as jumpy, but rather had the desired effect of making me laugh. I started warming up to Nick and found it easier to grasp the story. The secondary characters are still so freaking amazing. What I love about this story is that I didn't really know who the bad and good guys were. I was always on edge that any character could turn their backs from the light.

It was easier to understand the many mythological and fantasy creatures and this new information wasn't confusing or info-dumped. What I feel took away my enjoyment in Infinity was the zombie-aspect, but Invincible has more of a mystery and magical aspect which made for a fast-paced, action pact and enjoying read.

The second book of the Chronicles of Nick was much more enjoyable than the first and even although it didn't feel like a five-star read, the subtle cliffhanger (if that makes any sense) at the end makes me really excited for book three.

I'm so loving this series, Nick was always one of my favorite characters in the Dark Hunters series. SO it would go without reason that I would love him in his own series. But now I'm curious if that the things that are happening to Nick now is going to change the course for Nick in the Dark Hunter series??? Because in the Dark Hunters series he didn't know he was anything but human, and in TCoN he knows he isn't fully human, and that he is someone who will end up ending the world in his future. It's something to ponder on as I work my way through the rest of the series, and the upcoming books in the Dark Hunters series.

YES! That's all I can say really. What a satisfying book. Nick is understanding more and more about himself and the world, but he's still staying good. And he's even figuring out who Ambrose really is. He's a really smart kid, that one.

I'm loving this series, as it is a mix of the Dark Hunters and Nick's paralell story, it's great to read about Kyrian, and how he was before the Dark Hunter books. And it's great to see the battles Nick has to battle with himself to stay true and good.

Nick's mom is not as present as I had thought she would be, but she's still there, and loving him, so it's OK.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Cody, and I am wondering who is in place to hurt Nick from the side of his friends.
