A lengthy collection of novellas and short stories with tales ranging from "ripping good" to "not bad". When we read a Stephen King story our expectations are high and some of the tales in this collection didn't meet my expectations. My favourite tales in this collection were The Monkey, The Jaunt, Word Processor of the Gods, and Gramma. If you've never read King's short stories before, I'd suggest grabbing a copy of "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" or "Everything's Eventual" before this collection.
