It is no secret that I loved Wait for Me, thus I couldn’t wait to read the same story from Cam’s point of view. I couldn’t imagine this story getting any better, but it did!

Since I wrote a full review for Wait for Me, I won’t go into the same details, but rather, let me tell you what I loved about Trust in Me. Cam’s mind is a much comfortable place to be. Don’t get me wrong, I understand Avery’s angst, self-doubt, and mistrust, but by contrast, Cam is just the opposite (opposites attract, right). While reading the first book and thought that Cam must have the patience of a saint, and indeed he does! Cam’s a guy. What do I mean by that? Well, he has a one-track mind (you get my meaning).

In Trust in Me we get to see the whole study (minus Avery’s angst as I mentioned before), plus what goes on with Cam when the two are not together. It also gives the reader a chance to get better acquainted with Cam’s friends, Oliver and Jase, as well as with Cam’s family, especially his sister. I also like that he’s not afraid to talk about feelings and confronts his rage to try to keep it under control.


As always, the fabulous Jennifer Armentrout cannot help but to write an amazing story. I love her writing style, it’s straightforward and beautiful at the same time. I really hope you give this story a try because it’s wonderful!

When I read a story told in an alternate point of view, I don't often find myself loving that story more than the first one. But with TRUST IN ME, that didn't hold true.

I loved this version of Cam and Avery's story. Cam is a guy that is just hard not to love and getting into his head and understanding just how drawn his was to Avery completely blew me away. He was drawn to Avery, even though he didn't know why. He was willing be friends with her, when he wouldn't have done that before. And he didn't want any other woman, something he'd never had a problem with before. He wanted Avery and only she would do. And when he finally got her to agree to a date, when he finally got to kiss her and when she was finally his, his emotions jumped off the page at you.

As I said above, it's not often I enjoy the alternate POV to a story I've already read, but this one was special. J. Lynn took a character that was already very, very, very likable and turned him into that ultimate flawed, worthy, to-die-for hero. This is definitely one to pick up.

Having read Wait For You, I knew how this story was going to go. It is the exact same story, but told entirely from Cam's POV. But that somehow did not diminish my enjoyment - in fact it was enhanced because of that. Let me see if I can explain ...

The fact that is is a contemporary romance pretty much tells you they are going to be a couple by the end of the book. So you know that going in, even before you read the first book. But there are some pretty big revelations throughout, and I always wondered what was going on inside Cam's head during those times. Well, his reactions a spot on for his character. He is not perfect, and when he messes up, and he does, he actually feels terrible about it but doesn't know how to fix things right away. It makes him even more adorable.

His story also lets you get to know his friends and family a little better, which sets up the story beautifully for book 2, Be With Me - due to be released February 2014.

I don't feel like there is much I can say, other than if you liked Wait For You, you will LOVE Trust in Me. There is something about a male POV romance that really just ... melts my heart.
