Amber was a really special character. She kind of had the deck stacked against her - abandoned by her father, alcoholic mother, homeless, but she still always found a way to look on the positive side and spread cheer. When things got REALLY bad, all these people were there to repay the kindness Amber had shown them, and there was definitely a little cheering coming from me, when that all went down.

Overall: A charming and heartwarming read.
