Forevermore was quite the emotional ending to this series. St. John is still dealing with the aftermath of being held as a sex slave to the evil fae queen, and now the girl he loves is back in his life and he's tasked with protecting her. Layla knows nothing about the supernatural community despite being one herself and being raised by an angel, but she's about to get a crash course in all things supernatural once her true nature starts emerging. She also needs to find a husband, but the one man she wants can't stand to be touched.

There is so much going on in Forevermore. Obviously, there's the romance between Layla and Sin, as well as their personal struggles. But there's also more to Miranda and Archer's story, which I wasn't sure which direction it was going to go! There's Sin's reunion with his family and Layla's reunion with hers and learning more about what she is and how she came to be. A good chuck of the story is also about Lena, a demon, and her angel lover, Augustus, who raised Layla. Those two have a lot of unresolved issues.

The one thing that kind of disappointed me about Forevermore, but also has me dying for a spinoff series, was humans finally realizing that they're not alone in this world. It's been building for a long time, and now the supernaturals have been exposed. However, it's all thrust into the epilogue. I really would have liked to have seen how everyone reacts to their secrets being out. I also think it would make for a wonderful new series, to follow a new generation of Londoners.

Forevermore was definitely a worthy ending to this series. I loved seeing all of the couples together for the first (and probably last) time.
