Long one:
I've read many reviews of this books and while this one has gifs, I'll try to be as repectful as possible for the sake of the author, because, yeah, I feel bad for her.
1) First off, It's cool they are teenagers and want to get married. No issue there. It happens in many books. It has consequences: Perfect. But Bethany's reaction, after two books of "character development", should've been different.
2) The relationship: Bethany thinks Molly's thing with Wade isn't healthy. Well, hers isn't exactly better. There's a very thin line between 'I would sacrifice so much for him because I love him and will do everything I can for us to be together' and 'I can't live without him, I need him to breathe, If I'm not with him I want to die.' See? I found Bethany's sacrifice something amazing but Xavier doesn't really react accordingly. I get it he must be beyond happy, but hey! Shouldn't that be some major drama detonator?
3) Gabriel loses his wings in order to help Xavier. He apparently becomes invisible after that because the moment Raphael steps in, nobody looks at him or goes to help him after having his wings ripped. No, of course not.
4) I liked the idea of the septimus being bad, but it was lacking something to make it brilliant.
5) Bethany doesn't care about protection
6) At one point Ivy disappears and Bethany is worried. Two years later she's in some mission with Gabriel. It's never explained where the hell she was. --I was left curious--
7) I don't find the MC as someone I like to read about because she isn't interesting. Xavier was okay but at times he really has to start thinking for himself.
