I feel like this book had good bones… I actually think the world was cool, and I love an enemies to lovers sitch, but I was absolutely destroyed by the way world building was handled. A quintessential example of telling and not showing. I really enjoyed certain moments and beats of the story, but was really disappointed with others, so it evened out to just feeling kind of…meh.
