Ohh. The Lost and Found Girl has such a sweet cover! It immediately made me want to dive in, as I've needed a break lately. Written by Maisey Yates, this is an emotional novel with character-driven plots.

Ruby McKee was found abandoned as a young girl. That alone would have made her story memorable. But the events surrounding her finding turned her story into a sensation. Now she's seen as a beacon of hope in her small town.

While Ruby has never been left wanting, she still feels compelled to uncover the truth of her origin, as do her sisters, though each for very different reasons. Soon, the truth will be out, and the sisters will have to decide how to react.

Every now and then, I stumble across a book that blindsides me with how emotional it is. The Lost and Found Girl is one of those books. I thought I had been prepared for it, but clearly not! So I've gotta respect a book that manages to surprise me so much.

There are many things to like and appreciate about The Lost and Found Girl. Primarily, I love just how different it is. It's not like any novel I've read, though maybe that just means I need to branch out from my preferred genres more often.

The Lost and Found Girl has four main characters. Yet every one of them is so different from the other. It made them feel more real and human, which I adored. It is easy to find one character to relate to when they cover such a broad spectrum.

This novel mixes several genres, which doesn't always work out. But it does in this case! It made for the perfect read, at least for me. I hope others enjoy The Lost and Found Girl as much as I did!

Slow Start That All Comes Together For A Dramatic Finish. This is a story of how four sisters - three biological + one adopted - interact as adults when the adopted sister comes back to the town that saw her as their "miracle" from the moment she was found 22 yrs ago. It features romance angles for each of the sisters, though some of the guys are more well fleshed out than others - but each has at least a moment or two to shine. In particular there is the town pariah, accused of a murder a year before the adopted sister was found but for which he has maintained his innocence all along. Can an angel and a devil coexist? What if they may be more linked than anyone - except the two people in town harboring a deep, dark secret that *no one* is aware of - may realize? And what if the town *needs* that secret to be unearthed, whether they realize it or not? Truly an utterly fascinating book, one that no matter how slow you feel the start is you absolutely need to hang in there through the finish. Very much recommended.
