Boy meets football player. Football player meets boy's mom. A very sweet romance ensues. I thought this was an adorable story. Jaxon was so cute and funny and you couldn't help but smile when he and Jason interacted. It was very touching the way Jason connected to Jax, and how much he wanted to connect to Jax. Then there was Addison. She was slightly damaged and Jason was just the right guy to help her mend. He was everything you would never expect from a 6 foot 5, 230 pound linebacker -- tender, sweet, considerate, sappy. I enjoyed this book. It made me smile and well, that's important to me.
It was fine. It didn't knock my socks off or anything. It certainly wasn't a 5 star read as so many people have rated it. It was an easy read, I read it in a day or so, some of it I skimmed. I liked Jason's POV well enough and it was fairly angst free. I think there is more potential where this author is concerned.
