Better than the last one, still a little melodramatic. As with the other books, this is in serious need of editing. Too much inner dialogue summing up the events over and over, too much moooning over the men in her life, a little too much detail on everything. You could cut out about a third of the book in the middle and not miss it.

I enjoy the series and will stay with it but with each book I find myself skimming more and more.

Temperence is on her way to somewhere else when a plane crash casues her to detour. She's first on the scene and she's worried when she finds out that some of the victims are from her daughter's school. Add to that the fact that she can't contact her daughter and you have some of the stress of this story.

Another stress is the lack of backing from her bosses as things get sticky and the partner of a friend being on the flight.

Then she finds an extra foot and things start to get even more complicated.

Interesting but somehow lacking.
