So.much.namedropping! If all the names didn't have first and last name, and if all shops weren't names, this book would have been 200 pages shorter. Okay, that may be a bit over the top, but really. It was so frustrating reading aaaal those names over and over again, when all you really wanted was for the story to move forward.
Furthermore, there was too much of irrelevant information, which could've been left out as well.
Overall, I'd say this book was about 3-400 pages too long.
It took a while for me to be invested in the story, as I was really bored for the first 200 pages or so. Then things finally started happening. There was a lot of things going on! It took a lot of concentration to keep track of it all, but it was worth it. I gotta say Mr. King can write some really gross scenes. I was disgusted at some scenes, but that's part of what makes a good book, I think.
Some of the characters I really grew to like. They were simply amazing! Others freaked me out Junior!. I really felt like I knew some of these people, but unfortunately, I found that it was hard to keep track of so many characters, and I found the rest of them to be unnecessary for the story.
That being said, I really enjoyed this book, but I wasn't too fond of the writing, and I don't feel like all my questions were answered. A decent book if you have the time for it.
