UUGH I found this book very very frustrating! Mainly because I really liked Minnie and I actually liked Fitz as well, I liked how they are together, their chemistry, their interactions, how they support each other for the most part.

What I can not stand at all is this: He sleeps with other woman. With her consent, but still. They are married and he sleeps with other woman. He is made aware that he is way more public than he thinks he is, it is indicated that he picks up that it makes her uncomfortable, yet he changes nothing. He plans on going back to his long last love, basically abandening her for good and she let's him (bit of a pushover move, but I get it, I would be exactly like her in that situation). Then (slight spoiler but who are we kidding) in the very end he decides against it and stays with his loving wife instead of leaving her. And she is just fine with it. I get it from her perspective, but come one... isn't the hero in these kind of books supposed to at least fight a little for her? To grovel for all he put her through??? To have to suffer just like her, at least for a short time! I don't think he ever apologized and I hate it. Or at least have her attempt to get over him and start talking to other men or something, and he has to live with that, cause payback is a bitch... I love the silently-suffering-trope, I absolutely do, but it has to be followed by some real good groverling on his part.

Also, I hate Isabell, she made Millie feel bad on purpose on several occasions and she gets her own Novella and supposedly a happy ending? Screw that!

Maybe I'm just not into the cheating thing, which seems to take a lot of place in Sherry Thomas Books, seeing has Helena's affair with Mr. Whatever is happening while he is married, if I read that correctly. Not my thing. Which sucks because I liked the characters and Ms. Thomas writing style.
