Amy has to get the Tin Man's heart, the Lion's tail, and the Scarecrow's brain before she can properly kill Dorothy. Which sets you off on this adventure to take out Dorthy. Alot of the story focuses on Ozma/Pete history but we see a lot of epic action as well.
Amy really starts to come into her own in this second book in the series she really starts to get what she doing in Oz and that taking it back from the Evil Dorthy. Their some parts of it that just seem down right silly like the giant cat named Heathcliff with a unicorn horn on its head. Like anything you see in Oz you take it with a grain of salt, i mean come on you got munchkins and flying monkeys it can be believed right.
The next book in the series is called Yellow Brick war which seems like a great title for a book about Oz
