With every book, I fall more in love with this world. I'm holding back so much as not to spoil this novel. However, I must say. If anything happens to Nico, I will kill everyone in this book and then myself. Kudos to anyone who understood that reference. I also loved seeing Tyson again and getting a bit deeper look at some of the gods and their children.  

 

This book not only brings forth the characters we've come to love but seamlessly adds more who capture our hearts and cause tears to fill our eyes. I'm starting to think that this whole series is a must-read for anyone who wants to dip their toes into middle-grade fantasy.

Honestly, I have to say I like this book the least out of the bunch. And that while my favourite characters/group is introduced. I love the Hunters of Artemis so so much because they give me such aroace vibes (hence me shelving this one under ace books). But yeah the Titan's Curse is the book I always forget the most about, somehow. I still love it and it obviously still gets 5/5 stars.

Long story short: I love it. Rick Riordan manages to fascinate me with every book. Greek mythology is one of my nerdy subjects and I'm always excited to find out what bits he incorporates. And believe me, whatever it is he picks up - the Hesperides, Hercules, Atlas - Riordan makes it feel fresh and new, plus it often takes you by surprise!
Beside the fact that you can actually learn something about Greek mythology from the book, I have to say that all the characters are likable, you root for them and of course in this novel you will choose sides. Riordan will break your heart several times throughout the book!
Although it is a young adult novel, I still feel like he takes his readers seriously. A problem I sometimes experience with YA literature is that the writer seems to think of the readers as kids but here this is not the case.

The Titan's curse is another very well written and thrilling installment in the Percy Jackson series. Rick Riordan perfectioned the art of picking up well-known legends and making them modern. As always, the book was simply impossible to put down. Can't wait to read the next part!

Yay! Finally finished my re-read of the third book! This took me WAY TOO LONG!
Anyways, I'm hoping to read the forth book sometime between April to May... Let's hope that one will be read quicker than this one..

The Titan's Curse was disappointing in comparison to the series so far. The humour and banter was sorely lacking. Still entertaining, but expected more.

Oh dear, I hate it when a book lets you down, it’s like being betrayed by an old friend.
I liked the first book in the series, loved the second, than felt let down by the third.
I would think that the third’s down fall was probably be due to the second being so good.
For some reason I didn’t like the presence of the character Thalia, I can’t explain it. I really like the way Annabeth and Percy bounce off of each other and of cause as it’s Annabeth Percy’s off to save (among others) she’s not present for most of the book.
However I like the ending as Grover is off on his search for Pan again and I do so want the ‘Goat Boy” to succeed.
I must remember that this series is aimed at kids and that if I was fourteen, I probably would have been enthralled the whole way through.
Even though I had to force myself through parts of the third instalment of the Percy Jackson saga, I would still highly recommend this story for younger teens - there are lessons to be learnt, thrown in with fun, action and adventure.
I think I’ll take a break and read from another genre then return to the fourth book.

I cannot be disappointed in this series. It’s just too good! The world you get sucked into is amazing! The author has made it so realistic that you feel like you could be a part of it yourself. You’ll never be bored reading this book. There’s so many new myths and monsters to learn about. I love seeing where are these Greek things are in the modern world. Like Mount Olympus in New York and San Francisco. It’s just so cool!

I really liked the story in this one. It’s funny how Percy always gets sucked into these things. I’m super happy he was going to find Annabeth. I loved how Aphrodite got a little involved for a minute. It was really cute. I also really, really love Artemis and was happy to see her in this one. It was so sad that she got kidnapped with Annabeth. Plus Bessie was really cool too.

The characters get better and better each book. Percy is starting to understand his world a little bit more now. He’s also starting to get attached to Annabeth I think. I can’t wait for that to happen. Annabeth is as fantastic as usual and Grover is hilarious. I even started to like Thalia and Zoe. They were really interesting characters.

Basically this was an excellent book that everyone needs to read. Right away.
