Gritty and vicious. This series entertained me then stole my soul while I was distracted

All the same, I liked that not every one of my needs was pandered to when I wanted (needs here don't equate to genre expectations). Character development was, as always, a major talking point for me in this.

I'm not sure how much further into the series I will wade (novellas,spin-offs etc) but only time will tell.

CONTENT WARNINGS: suicidal ideation, attempted suicide, allusions to rape, blood and gore.
