I do really like Aubrey and Riff, but I found myself simply not caring about them in Rock My Bed. Like I said, this felt like deleted scenes instead of their own story. The first two-thirds or so is very jumpy, since it bounces from scene to scene instead of flowing. They spend a lot of time apart, which is what I think causes the episodic feel. We'll get a couple of chapter of them together, then they'll separate, but all of a sudden they're together again. The transitions just weren't smooth at all, since it felt like the author was trying to cram in the entire parallel story before getting to some new stuff. By time the fully new material started, I was completely bored. It was just the typical "I'm not good enough for you, so I tried to push you away, but I can't stay away, so let's get back to kissing" plot.
In the end, Rock My Bed just didn't grab me. The sex scenes were pretty good, and there's a lot of them, but that isn't enough for me if I don't care about the romance or the characters. Even though this mostly takes place at the same time as the first book, it definitely should be read second since it spoils the main drama. Other than that, I really don't have much to say about this one.
