Hero forced heroine to marry him (bound, gagged, and dragged to altar) so he could save her... and a few days (and sexy times) later, she completely forgives him. Love conquers all!
No. I don't care if their love predated the story or that the heroine and hero once wanted to be married. Heroes don't force their lady loves into marriage.
I wanted to shake the heroine. Loyal to the point of stupidity to her brother. And both her and the hero? Spent a good portion of the time making assumptions about what the other was feeling. That always ends well.
This is the kind of romance where I'm surprised (and a little disappointed) the hero's love didn't magically cure the heroine's barrenness.
