Lorelei's Lit Lair
Written on Dec 18, 2015
Quinn is the youngest of the Knowles siblings. At 24, she cares for rescues, all kinds of creatures, even people. Especially Ethan, a photojournalist, who's taking some time to heal at the family ranch after a tragic event in Afghanistan, that left him wounded, physically and emotionally.
Now that Quinn's two older brothers have found their soulmates, she's happy to stay away from her mother's matchmaking attempts, since Quinn believes she's inadequate in the love department. Well, at least that's how her previous suitors have made her feel.
After a rocky beginning, Ethan and Quinn find ways to help each other and a beautiful love grows between them. But, as one tries to help the other, a conflict arises, which puts their relationship at risk.
I haven't been to a ranch, yet I feel I've been there, I even feel I know the characters with how well Laura Moore delivers her stories. There's charm, community, family banter and love. Also, some very passionate and romantic scenes.
I enjoyed this series so much! It's very well written and Laura Moore has an excellent voice. While this book stands alone, I highly recommend you read the first two books to enjoy the complete Knowles family picture. 5 stars.
I received an ARC for my honest opinion, and I gladly recommend this author to anyone who enjoys books as described in my review.
