Enslave Me Sweetly was another good addition to this series, but it did read very much like the first one. This time we're in New Dallas, following Eden Black, an alien huntress who is also an alien. She's a Raka, one of the rarest aliens on Earth, since they're killed for their golden skin and hair. However, Eden was adopted by a very rich and powerful man, so she's been safe. Her current mission is to kill EenLi, an alien who auctions off women to other-worlders as sex slaves. She fails in her first attempt, so she's given a partner to help her take him out for good. Eden is not happy about this, but neither is her partner. Of course, there's an insane amount of sexual tension, so the two eventually work really well together.

Again, Enslave Me Sweetly learned more toward the Urban Fantasy side of things. The romance was still a central point, but the plot definitely dominated still. And, once again, we have a woman who is desperate to prove herself to men. Eden does get cocky and makes some stupid decisions in order to show that she's more than capable, which did annoy me at times. Over all, I did like her a lot though. She's feisty and not one to beat around the bush. I also liked her romance with Lucius much more than the one in the first book. Those two have explosive chemistry! I just wish there had been more scenes of them alone together, rather than working on their mission.

One thing that did bother me about Enslave Me Sweetly was how convenient the ending was. Eden and Lucius come up with a good plan to capture EenLi and stop the auctions. Something obviously goes wrong, but Eden manages to set it right. But it was too easy. I had a hard time believing that the alien who agrees to help her, would just help her like that after all of the trouble he's gone through. While I do enjoy fully wrapped up endings, that was just too nice and neat.

I did really like Enslave Me Sweetly. It's fun, action packed, and kind of cheesy. I do wish the romance was more of the focus, since the first two couples of the series haven't had much development despite great chemistry. I'll definitely be continuing in hopes that this is improved.

Excellent! Eden is also a very strong woman, totally able to kick ass on her own, however, Lucius (or Luscious as she called him LOL) is totally able to be with her anyway.

Very exciting book, with more about the aliens, and a horrible slave-trade.
