[Romance Schmomance]

Sooo, Beau and Sabrina are by far my favorite couple in this series. I remember when I read The Lucky Heart, we get the glimpse of whose story would be next. And to be honest, I wasn't completely intrigued by it. But as soon as I dove in, I was hooked on every word and finished it in just a matter of hours. This is a series that just keeps getting better and better with each new book, which makes me eager for the next one.

Sabrina, for one, I can't believe she did what she did. Beyond bat-sh*t crazy. Even though she had her reasons for doing what she did, she went undercover for an article to hopefully take down a mafia family. But things went a little awry when she showed up on her best friend's doorstep battered and bruised. Hoping to seek safety and refuge in the wilderness of Montana.

Absolutely loved the narrated version of The Outpost and was very satisfied with my listening experience. I will not be changing my rating and with the re-read, I loved and felt the same emotions as I indicated in my previous review.

I will definitely be going on with listening to the rest of the series...soon...ish.

I've been waiting for Beau

From the start, Beau was my hero. Sure, all the other guys have been great, but there's just something about a mountain man who growls, acts possessive and is sweet with babies.

At first, I wasn't convinced Sabrina was good enough for my Beau but as time went on, she grew on me. Her recklessness and putting loved ones in danger made her seem self-absorbed. Luckily, The Outpost put her priorities straight and made her realise the error of her ways.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story but did get a little frustrated with how long they spent apart. I guess I can forgive them though considering the HEA I was treated to.

I finished The Outpost with a goofy grin on my face and I can't wait for more in the series.
