Quirky Cat
Summary:
Coco lives in a world where magic exists. Unfortunately, she's no magician. That's the one thing she's desperately wanted to be ever since she was a little girl. However, she has also been told that magicians are born, not made. Until one day, Coco sees something that changes her life. Now, she's a witch in training.
The trial may not have gone according to plan, but Coco is about to learn a whole lot about herself. More importantly, she's going to learn more about Qifrey and his backstory. Is there a hidden depth to her instructor?
Review:
I think it's safe to say that Witch Hat Atelier Vol. 7 is my favorite volume in the series (so far). It really dials up the intensity – in the best ways possible. The more I read this series, the more I fall in love with it.
I'll admit that I wasn't sure about Qifrey at first. Not only did it feel like he was hiding something (fun fact: he was/is), but the whole situation felt suspect. Now that I have a better idea of what is happening, I find his character much more compelling.
That said, boy, this revelation raised more questions than it answered! There's so much going on, and I need to know everything! It's great to see this series really hit its stride. I can't wait to see what happens next.
