This book blew me away!! The storyline was so captivating and Evan (plus the other POV I won't name because spoilers) drew me in with their struggles. Evan had an incredible character arc that was both realistic and heartbreaking. I was hooked until the very end! I want to watch the musical now.

Today is going to be a good day, and here’s why.

Because today, no matter what else, you’re you. No hiding. No lying. Just you. And that’s enough.

— Based on the hit broadway musical. I haven’t seen it, but I really love the soundtrack so I decided to read this. I think it’s not very effective in book form. For now, I’ll wait for the film adaptation :)

Apparently I DNF'ed it. First of all it's super slow and dragging. I hope the musical isn't as dragging as this book is. Why converting a musical into a book actually? It's not working. Second, EVan annoyed me to bits and pieces. Yes, he has social anxiety, but why is he making up stories and lies? I couldn't take it any longer.
