Kyle and Rylann met and spent a evening getting to know each other, with the promise of dinner the next night. Then, he disappeared. Nine years later, Rylann is staring a new position in Chicago, and one of her first assignments brings her face to face with Kyle.
This is my first Julie James books, and I must say, I enjoyed it greatly. The story was a mix of fun, sensitive, informative, and schmexy. I adored Kyle, and thought Rylann was a great female character. Not too hard, not too soft. She was the perfect parts of every female character, and quite believable.
I smiled, laughed, and swooned. Those are my biggest requirement, and James met them all.
