Initial Thoughts: A cute, fun middle grade book I would have enjoyed reading as a child. Protagonist Eden is kind, exuberant, and just a little headstrong--basically a genie version of Cinderella's Rapunzel. I'm giving the book three stars instead of four because, while I am imagine recommending this book or buying it for a child, it does practically nothing to distinguish itself in the market. I don't think this one will be getting a lot of buzz.
