The Bookworm Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts

The Bookworm Crush

by Lisa Brown Roberts

Amy McIntyre’s artistic dreams were crushed by a scathing art critic, but she’s determined to reboot her confidence this summer. She’s made a list of her flaws that need fixing, though she’s not quite sure how to tackle them. One thing she is sure of- she doesn’t need Toff Nichols declaring himself her wingman and taking over her list like a boss. Especially since he’s the reason for a secret to-do item on her list: BKoML (Best Kiss of My Life).

Toff Nichols plans to spend his summer surfing and partying, but when an injury sidelines him, he’s desperate to find something- or someone- to distract him until he can get back in the water. Enter Amy McIntyre, artist and book nerd. She needs him for her stupid list, even though she won’t admit it, because what kind of girl goes around listing her “flaws” when she’s flawless?

WHAT I LOVED:
• AMY!!! You know that feeling you get when you just connect with a book character? Not only are both Amy and I super shy bookworms/bookstagrammers, we are both diehard fans of the romance genre! I’ve never seen another MC that likes romance books before, and I feel like it’s important to encourage romance novel positivity & acceptance, and I will NEVER stop praising my favorite genre
