Ok- this was a 4.5 for me. I was really excited about this one because I loved Jessica's first book. I have to say that this one was a bit different from the first. I'm ok with that. I really appreciated the peek into Army life and how preparing for a deployment works and the challenges they face. I learned a lot. I loved that Evan first wanted Claire because she was a badass professionally. He got to peel back the layers and see the softer parts of Claire that no one else got to see. Ms. Scott's books will always be on my "can't wait" shelf.
