I really love the book, I love the storyline, the couple, the side story with Lara and Walker and I really love that we finally got to the open conflict and it's not all that back and forth between the packs and the council anymore.

What I noticed and kinda didn't like on my second read of the story, while I loved and adored the relationship of Hawke and Sienna, and I really think they make a great couple, I didn't like their courtship. Because there wasn't that much of it. And again, I love Hawke as a Character, his wildness and his protectiveness. But he was an ass to Sienna for a long time through the first half of the book and while she did threaten to walk away a few times, he never really had to work for her... And that kind of annoyed me. Because I just kept thinking, if she was a friend of mine or relative or whatever, I would want her to have more!

Hawke does make up for it later, and as I said, they work great together as a pair later on, I just really missed him cherishing her at the beginning and middle.

But otherwise, great book and great part of an amazing series.
