I did not expect to like this so much, honestly, that is what usually happens with K F Breen though, I am not the biggest fan at book one, then book two draws me in. The heroine is kickass and fun, the chemistry with her hero is nice and interesting and hot and the storyline is really good and solid.

Ohhh how things are getting HOT in this book!

And the mystery unravels! We find out more and more about Reagan's powers and why she is so important. Her and Darius relationship finally takes the plunge (finally!) but she's not given in completely to his wishes! She's still holding back a little! hehe

We meet the young mage from book 1 again and find out she's quite powerful, it's a good thing she's decided to get on the Reagan train hehe.

Our happy dizzy married couple plays a huge part in Reagan's life now and together Darius, Reagan & the mage duo must find and destroy 'Agnon' - a demon who's very interested in Reagan...

The romance escalates which was nice - it's not very graphic though, it concentrates more on how they are feeling vs. the explicit act itself. More playboy than erotica. It was new to me, and though I'm a sucker for the details and a thorough lover of erotica - I had no issues with it, it was still great and left me with a smile on my face.

Vlad is up to no good I thinks! So we wanna keep an eye on him...Darius finally opens up about his age and the circumstances of his turning - slightly heartbreaking, I felt so bad for him, but it was nice to get more history about him.

This book was not AS good as the first one, but I still think it deserves 5*.
