My favorite part of Werewolf in the North Woods (other than the Sasquatch family!) was how everything came out in the open at the beginning, so that there was no "you lied me! how can I ever trust you! but I love you!" fight. Abby catches Roarke shifting and blackmails him into taking her to find the Bigfoot pair. She's very intrigued by the existence of werewolves, but Roarke doesn't want her involved. Too bad they have super chemistry and can't keep their hands off each other!
The plot of Werewolf in the North Woods was a lot of fun. I love that Bigfoot actually exists, and that the Weres are a sort of protector for them. Roarke was also hired with tracking them down and moving them someplace safer, so that they could have their baby in peace. Of course, they have to run into some trouble before completing their tasks. This part I didn't enjoy quite as much, since I didn't see the point of having Cameron Gentry kidnapping and threatening Abby. It seemed like tension thrown in for tension's sake.
In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed Werewolf in the North Woods. The characters are great, the plot was fast and fun, and the romance was steamy! I was kind of hoping that Roarke would take the Bigfeet to Big Knob. That would have been a great reference for fans of the authors other paranormal series!
