This was enjoyable short novella. There's not really any character or plot development - but that's about what you expect from this sort of read. It did annoy me that Jake contradicted himself - he was looking for a hookup, he wasn't looking for a relationship - he didn't seem to know what the hell he wanted and he had the nerve to question Noelle. But it was easy enough to ignore. The romance between them was alright, nothing particularly memorable but it was sweet and lighthearted and perfect for my mood. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.
No Dress Required is the latest novel from author Cari Quinn, and a preview from Entangled Publishing of their new line, Flirt. This novella is a spicy read, and a fun one. Noelle is a quirky character who, despite any personal self-doubt, has decided to finally make a play for the man of her dreams. Unfortunately for her, the fates seem to be against her as her intended evening does not go as planned. Jake is the perfect leading man for the story, embodying everything a romance hero should be,... hot, sexy, funny, and willing! Mixed in with the steaminess are two lovable characters, a good plot, and unexpected humor. Definitely a fun read!
