Traditionally many chemical companies have not recognized branding as having any relevance to themselves. However, those who grasped the concept are reaping significant rewards. Some others claim to understand only certain aspects of branding and are using these to their advantage, but still overlook many other useful aspects. This text is an objective analysis of branding in the chemical sector. The results of interviews with over 50 senior executives of major chemical companies in Europe and the US have been digested and analyzed.
