Despite previously enjoying several of H.P. Mallory's books, it was sheer stubborness that made me finish this book, I really didn't enjoy it.

I found the characters two dimensional and irritating, particularly Bill with his crass, crude comments and attitude. Lily was a bit pathetic and watery.

There were also lots of spelling and grammar mistaes which affected the way the story read and made it difficult to read.
