My main issue is the FMC.
Firstly, I'm not a fan of female characters portrayed as extremely unique, powerful, and skilled to the point where they surpass everyone else, including the Gods themselves (in this series). I don't think the main female character must have such characteristics to be charismatic and attractive or to be someone as reader I want to root for.
Secondly, I find it quite boring that the third book in the series still primarily revolves around Estrella and Caldris. Their development is lacking, with Estrella becoming more powerful, sometimes without any reasoning, and everyone admiring and loving her simply because of who she breathes?! :) On the other hand, Caldris changes from an attractive and powerful character to one who merely serves the female character.
What I desire from Estrella and Caldris is for them to be equal partners. I expect this in this genre in general, but instead, Caldris becomes more of Estrella's subordinate, and his character is overshadowed by hers, which, is not justified in becoming so powerful.
Despite these issues, the series isn't entirely bad. I still enjoy the overall story, particularly the elements involving fairylands. As I mentioned in my review of the second book, I would honestly prefer more stories about the side characters, as the repeated focus on Estrella and Kaldrys' love life, sex life, and their mutual worship and obsession becomes quite repetitive and boring.
