Well that was disappointing.

This book started out really good… great characters and great premise. But it slowly turned into something less exciting.

First of all, this book was waaaay too long. The mundane day to day ship life was interesting… for a while. But it got old after 500 pages of it. So much of this book should have been cut down. I started to miss important plot bits because they were surrounded by so many unimportant bits.

The end was also extremely anti-climactic. I wanted to care, but I just didn't. It had completely lost me by then and didn't even redeem itself with something epic.

Lots of potential, but fell flat.
