This was super fun - it was nice not having having the love triangle in the mix to bring down the mood, for one. And it was really cool getting to know Sebastián's son Matvoch (sp?) so much better. I really like him as a character and hope we get to see a lot more of him and his unique abilities. It's exciting to see Garnet really embracing her magic again and dealing with her inner goddess (LITERALLY, Lilith is piggybacking inside her). And some nice developments in Garnet and Sebastián's relationship too. Great narration, of course, because it's Amanda Ronconi. On to the next!

Even though it is the third in the series and I haven't read the first two I still enjoyed it a lot. The characters were intriguing and at times humorous. I liked the way Hallaway incorporated god/goddess incarnates into the story, very interesting to read.
