Meh. I wanted to like this one - and had it been released a few years ago I probably would have devoured it. I got just over 100 pages in and I just lost interest, Amber was more interested in going to all these posh places than actually working. I wanted to know more about being an actual stylist; or working for one, than going to Soho House. It was all about the name dropping. A book like this should whip along at pace, not feel like it's dragging and it felt like it was dragging. Cut the waffle, and get down to the nitty gritty, down to the good stuff. There's a fine balance between name dropping and celebs and this was over the line for me. Loads of people liked it, I just couldn't get into it personally.
