This is the second book by Melissa Foster that I have read and the feeling I got when I first read her work has intensified.

Seaside Dreams is the first book in the Seaside Summer series and based on what I have read so far It appears that this will be a great series. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for her fans with this brand new series.

It tells the story of Bella Abbascine and Caden Grant. Bella, a teacher quit her job after a bad breakup with a fellow teacher. She relocated to Wellfeet Massachusetts to spend time with her friends and to begin a new chapter in her life. She has sworn of relationships and her main focus was the launching of a project to help teenagers find a sense of purpose. Little did she know that her decision to swear of relationships would come under threat when she came face to face with Caden Grant.

Caden is a police officer and a single father of a fourteen year old boy. Caden decided that he had enough of the city life after his partner was killed in the line of duty. He relocated to Wellfeet to start over and create a safer life for his son.

The initial meeting between Caden and Bella was comical and their attraction was off the charts. These two are the polar opposites of each other which makes for an interesting read. I like the fact that Bella is willing to embrace Evan (Caden’s son). Caden’s honesty is refreshing which helped to catch Bella hook, line and sinker. The romance between them is sweet, hot and passionate. I loved the way the author developed their romance. It was not rushed, which made it credible.

Seaside Dreams is a beautiful story that depicts how love has a way of entering our lives when we least expect it. It has a funny way of derailing our plans.



If you love your romance novels hot and spicy with a hint of sweetness, then you need to get yourself a copy of Seaside Dreams.

When I heard that there was going to be books about the Seaside girls I was so excited. I loved Read, Write, Love where they were all introduced and I thought they all sounded like such fun girls that I wanted to know more about them.

This book focuses on Bella. Bella is a high school teacher, a bit of a rule breaker but the girls know her as stable Mable. If you have read Read, Write, Love you will know that Leanna was a bit of a gypsy before she settled down with Kurt. I love Bella's rule breaking, don't worry nothing serious just little things that were extremely funny. Bella is a kind hearted girl who seems strong, loud and independent but deep down she just wants to be loved.

Caden...PHWAOR! If you didn't get that he's HOT!!! He's also a police officer with a teenage son. I loved how dedicated Caden is to his son.He has spent a lot of years making sure he brought Evan up right. He's a good man. I loved the handyman scene.

I guessed the twist in this book quite early on but I was still crushed when it happened.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the Seaside Summer books. I can't wait to learn more about the other girls.

I love Melissa Foster’s books and have had the pleasure of reading all of her Love In Bloom series and have loved every single one. Seaside Dreams was no exception. I was hooked from page one. If you have read Read, Write, Love! you will remember Bella (she was one of Leanna’s friends) and Seaside Dreams is all about her. She has decided that relationships are a waste of time, too many lying cheating men about and she wants to take a step back. she has the best friends, they love to play pranks, they are a great bunch but when one prank goes completely wrong she ends up in the arms of Police Officer Caden Grant. Will this be the man that changes her mind on relationships? Like I am going to tell you that, you will have to read it to find out!

Another fantastic book by a fantastic author. I cannot wait to read about the other girls from the Seaside Cottages now.
